How to Download Pinterest Carousel Images

A carousel is several media items inside one Pin, not an entire board. The carousel tool lists the items it can detect on that public page, so you can decide which slides to save.

Copy one carousel Pin
Open the multi-slide Pin and copy its own /pin/ URL. A board-grid URL sends you to a collection of Pins instead. If you want a whole collection, use the board tool.

Analyze the public Pin in the carousel downloader.

Compare the detected thumbnails with the Pin you opened.

Tick individual slides or choose Select All.

Download Selected and read the completed and unavailable file counts.
Why a slide can be missing
Pinterest does not always expose all carousel items in the public page. The extractor also limits discovered images to avoid unbounded results. A missing slide is not evidence that it was downloaded elsewhere, and the grid is never padded with fake items.
Mixed media and order
A result may contain images and an available MP4. Use the type filter when you need only one format. The discovery order and generated filenames are not a guarantee of the creator's original slide sequence; compare previews and rename saved files if sequence matters.
Keep attribution with the files
Keep the Pin URL alongside the downloaded items. Public availability permits this tool to analyze the page, but reuse rights remain with the creator. Do not redistribute a carousel without permission.
