Copyright & Content Policy

How Pinterest Downloader handles copyright: what the tools access, your responsibilities as a user, and how to report content concerns.

We do not host Pinterest content

Pinterest Downloader stores no media. When you analyze a link, the server reads a publicly accessible page and passes the media the page already exposes back to your browser. Nothing is archived, indexed or republished here.

Rights stay with the creator

Images, videos and GIFs shared on Pinterest belong to the people or companies that created them. Saving a file for offline viewing does not transfer any rights. Republishing, reselling or using a download commercially requires permission from the rights holder.

Your responsibilities

  • Only download content you are authorized to access and use.
  • Respect the licence, watermark and attribution requirements attached to a work.
  • Do not use the tools to access private boards, protected accounts or restricted content.
  • Follow Pinterest’s terms and the law that applies where you live.

Reporting a concern

Because no media is hosted here, a takedown of a specific file has to go to Pinterest or the site hosting it. If you believe this website itself is being misused, use the contact page and describe the URL and the issue; we review reports and can block specific source URLs from being processed.

No legal advice

This page explains how the service works. It is not legal advice, and it does not grant any licence to reuse material found on Pinterest.
