Why browser saving beats screenshots
A screenshot captures your screen: cropped edges, interface overlays and whatever pixel density your device happens to use. Downloading the source image keeps the original dimensions and compression, which matters if you plan to print it or use it as a reference.
Save an image in four steps

Open the Pin in a mobile or desktop browser.

If the page keeps asking you to sign in
Pinterest sometimes shows a login prompt to logged-out visitors. Closing the prompt usually reveals the Pin. If the content genuinely requires an account, it is not public, and no tool here will process it.
Keeping saved images organised
- Rename files as they arrive; downloads are named after the Pin rather than a CDN string.
- Keep a folder per project so references stay findable later.
- Note the source URL alongside the file when you may need to credit the creator.
