How to Download Pinterest Videos on PC
Updated 2026-08-28 · 4 min read
A desktop browser is the easiest place to save Pinterest videos: the full URL is visible in the address bar, files land in a folder you control, and you can rename them as they arrive.
Jump straight to the tool: Pinterest Video Downloader
Copy the Pin URL in your browser
Open the Pin so the address bar shows pinterest.com/pin/ followed by a numeric ID. Copying from the address bar avoids the tracking parameters that share links often carry, although the analyzer strips those anyway.
If you copied a pin.it short link from your phone, it works too — it resolves to the same public Pin.
Analyze and save the file
- 1
Open the Pinterest Video Downloader in a new tab.
- 2
Paste the Pin URL and press Analyze.
- 3
Check the preview so you know it is the right clip.
- 4
Click Download Video.
- 5
Choose a folder, or let the browser use your default download location.
Windows and macOS notes
- Chrome and Edge on Windows ask once before allowing several files from the same site; approve it if you plan to save more than one.
- Safari on macOS may add the file to the Downloads stack rather than opening a dialog — check the Downloads button in the toolbar.
- Files arrive as MP4, which Windows Media Player, QuickTime, VLC and every modern editor open natively.
Saving several videos in one session
For a set of Pins from the same board, the board tool is faster than opening each Pin: it lists everything the public board page exposes and downloads the items you tick, one after another, with a running progress summary.
