How to Save Pinterest Videos on iPhone

iOS handles downloads differently from desktop, which is why people assume saving a Pin is impossible on an iPhone. It isn't — you just need to know where Safari puts the file.

Copy the link in the Pinterest app

Open the video Pin in the Pinterest app.

Tap the share icon.

Choose Copy link.

Open Safari and go to the Pinterest Video Downloader.

Paste the link, tap Analyze, then Download Video.
Where the file goes
Safari saves downloads to the Downloads folder inside the Files app by default. Open Files, tap Browse, then Downloads. To move the clip into your camera roll, tap the file, use the share sheet and choose Save Video.
If you changed Safari's download location in Settings, check that folder instead.
Common iPhone issues
- Nothing happens on tap: check that downloads are not blocked in Safari settings.
- The file opens instead of downloading: use the share sheet and choose Save to Files.
- The Pin can't be processed: it may be private, deleted, or not a video Pin.
